Taste of India and Nepal in Pocatello

Great food, super accommodating staff, I've been back twice and not disappointed. The samosas are the bomb, seriously everything I've ordered has been completely delicious. Take out was done on time and packaged well. Dine in had a delightful waiter. Can't go wrong either way!

Super friendly service, great food, large portions, all for a very reasonable price. I decided to come here because of their great rating, and I am very happy to say that they deserve their rating. I walked in and was hit by delicious smells coming from the kitchen and the plates of other diners. I absolutely loved my meal and would be happy to come back again and again.

I love Indian food, and this restaurant is one of the best I've ever had! I recommend trying their buttered chicken and the Mango Lassi, both are super delicious! Super friendly staff as well:) nice cozy little place

First time being here and we loved it! Service was speedy and professional. The food was so good. The meat was amazingly tender and the dishes were perfectly spiced. We are so impressed and will be returning soon!

This is an awesome hole-in-the-wall place. A place you'd drive past a hundred times without thinking about stopping; I'm so very glad I did. Fantastic food. Everytime.

Amazing food. Fresh naans, a must have. Owner is very friendly and service was great. It is mom and pop restaurant, so expect a more friendly casual environment than a typical chain restaurant service.

FANTASTIC FOOD!! And the friendliest staff I've ever experienced! If you like lamb dishes the Lamb Tikka Marsala melts in your mouth.

Great little Indian place. One of the better places to eat in Poky. Generally fairly quiet. Great lunch buffet. (Can take to go, too, which is nice!) Broad menu. A bit pricier than some places in town certainly, but worth it.

Amazing food and even better staff! Always friendly and welcome. Must go if you love India food. I dine here at least once a month and the family that owns and runs it are so friendly and sweet. The portion sizes are large and you get your money worth.

Really friendly staff! I had the Chicken Momo's with a Mango Lassi and it was phenomenal. The whole meal cost about $14 but I was surprisingly full for the rest of the afternoon. Really good food, but 4 stars because it was a little dingy. Not bad at all though.

This place I amazing. They take pride in what they do and it shows. Quality food and service. I will stop here every chance I get. I travel a lot, and enjoy trying new places to eat. It's always nice to be so pleasantly surprised. If you like Indian and Nepalese food, you won't be disappointed.

One might expect to find good Asian cuisine in a small town like Pocatello, but that's exactly what one finds at Taste of India and Nepal. Since it was my first experience with Nepalese cuisine, I can't vouch for authenticity, but the food was delicious and artfully presented. The restaurant owners pride themselves on preparing each dish fresh, so this is not the place to go if you are pressed for time. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

I was visiting family for a week in Pocatello and ate here 3 times!! The food is fantastic and the service is great!! 10 out of 10, would recommend!

AMAZING Food!! The lunch buffet is well worth it. It's around $10 and it's the best Indian/Nepalese food in Pocatello, by far. Also, the staff is incredible. Probably the best staff at any restaurant I've been to.

Excellent food. Some unique dishes. We had the Malai Chicken and the Lamb Kadahi. Both were delicious. The service was efficient and friendly. A hidden gem. We will go back next time we are passing through Pocatello.

Amazing and friendly service! Makes you feel at home, and as if your home was India with their DELICIOUS dishes that taste out of this world! Our whole family went while on a trip to Lava Hot Springs, and all 15 of us, parents and kids alike, loved it! Seriously you can smell the spices from across the street! Follow your nose inside and you'll be happy!

I'm not sure why you would be on door dash and offering hours on a Saturday night until 10 pm. I came to pick up an order at 8:40 and you said we are trying to close. Very bad work ethics by you all. Do not advertise you are open until 10 pm and try closing your doors at 8:30. You sure the hell not going to pay your bills that way. Very bad customer service to talk to a patron like that.

Pocatello's hidden gem! The best service I have ever experienced! I've been coming here for years and the food is very authentic and consistently exceeds my expectations. Highly recommend their chicken Korma and chicken malai.

Love their butter chicken! Seems like they keep changing their recipes since the original owner retired.

Went for the lunch buffet and was overwhelmingly pleased with the quality of food and service. The selection was large enough if you're a picky eater you'll find something, but honestly all of it was good. My only complaint would be some of the food wasn't labeled and it would be nice to know what you're getting, but that is such a minor issue it won't impact me going back or recommending it.

Holy wow!!! The depth and layer of flavor is impressive. We had the exotic curry, the lamb was falling-apart tender. And partner had Malai Chicken. Both extremely satisfying and traditional.

My friend brought me here. I was leery after terrible service and bad food at Nosh Mahal. But this place was awesome! It wasn't busy. The staff were fast in all regards. They checked on you. And the food was to die for!! So good! I need to go back soon! Oh, and the garlic naan was presented so well. Almost too pretty to eat!
